How to use K-Board

1. Everything stays on your device. K-Board runs entirely in your browser — your boards are never uploaded, no account needed.
2. Multiple projects. Use the project switcher (top bar) to create and switch between separate boards — each keeps its own columns, cards and colors.
3. Add columns and cards, then drag cards between columns (or drag a column's header to reorder columns).
4. Click a card to set a description, a start/due date (click the field to open a calendar), a checklist, a cover image, or a color.
5. Shuffle colors from the top bar any time you like — and the current board also reshuffles itself automatically the first time you open it each day.
6. Timeline view lays dated cards out on a horizontal calendar, spanning from start to due date — drag a bar's edges to trim it, or its middle to move it. Switch the project filter to see one board or every project at once.
7. Today view is a daily to-do list separate from your boards: search for any card across every project and add it to today's list, then check it off as you go. It resets itself each morning.
8. Random Ideas is a quick capture list — drop any idea in, tag and describe it, then send it to your active board as a task whenever you're ready to work on it.
9. Done cards archive themselves the day after you check them off — find them again anytime from the Archive button, where you can restore or delete them.
10. Nothing leaves your device automatically, but you can still lose it if you clear browser data. Use Export (JSON) (Cmd/Ctrl+S) for a manual backup, Auto-backup (Chrome/Edge) to silently write timestamped backups to a real folder, and Version history to restore a recent autosaved snapshot without leaving the app.
